A classic A-frame, thoughtfully restored in 2024. Two bedrooms tucked into the pines, a private spa under the stars, and a steam shower to thaw out after the mountain. Dogs welcome.
The Ireland Lake House is a distinctive A-frame cabin — all soaring cedar walls, black trim, and a two-story wall of windows that fills the space with sunrise and sunset light. The silhouette is pure Big Bear, the kind of cabin that has always belonged here. The rest was rebuilt from the studs up in 2024.
Inside, white shiplap walls and exposed wood beams meet mid-century furnishings, a stone-hearth wood-burning fireplace, and a full kitchen with gas range, espresso machine, and everything else you need for a real stay. Two bedrooms sleep four — a king primary and a second room with two twin beds and a proper desk for anyone working from the mountain.
Outside, a wraparound deck overlooks the pines, the fenced yard gives your dog the run of the place, and the private spa sits steps from the door — the best seat in the house when snow is falling.
